The Bayou GatorCraw Fest is what great Cajun-Creole culture is all about. The festival will feature a Louisiana Zydeco Good Time X’s Two(2)! Yes , Y’all, it’s going to be TWO (2) Days! Friday Night, April 28, 2023 is our Mardi Gras “Purple Party!” Here you will enjoy a festive atmosphere , as you listen to the sounds of Authentic Louisiana Zydeco and Swamp Pop. In the Festive Purple Colors, we’ll honor those who suffer from Charcot-Marie-Tooth (CMT) while in the Mardi Gras Spirit! April 28, 2023 Charcot-Marie-Tooth (CMT) Community Awareness Day. There will be select vendors open for the occassion. April 29, 2023 is the BGCF “Family Day.” Filled with family activities, there will be Louisiana Gourmet Chefs and Jr Chefs demonstrations, a Kidz’ Zone including storytelling, arts and crafts, games, bounce houses and much, much more. Let’s not forget all of the unique vendors! They’ll have all kinds of Goodies!

The goal of the festival is to share, not only the Louisiana culture, but to raise funds to assist in community programs. This year we will bring awareness to the Charcot-Marie-Tooth (CMT) Community. We will be donating to the Charcot-Marie-Tooth Association through the BayoU Sunflowers, “Sunflowers Ba YoU” Give Back Program. As we learn more on this debilitating disease, we’d like to help encourage the community’s involvement in nurturing the advancement of those coping with the physical and mental effects on their lives.
